Tess is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DJ, music producer, remixer, and mentor for young people.

She currently resides in the Byron Shire, where she has a beautiful at-home studio, surrounded by palms and greenery.

she is passionate about supporting young people to reach their music and artistic potential.

Tess creates lo-fi hip-hop under the pseudonym shmo-fi, remixes singles for bands (including the clever references), and is one-half of acclaimed Australian duo, Broad Spectrum Placebo.

she currently works with ‘One Vision Productions’ in byron bay, guiding at-risk youths through songwriting, singing/rapping, recording, and music-video production workshops.
